In aesthetic analysis, I never consider the lip in isolation — always in the context of overall facial dynamics. A result only appears authentic when proportions exist in biological harmony. This includes vertical balance — the precise ratio between nasal base, lip, and chin tip — to neither optically shorten nor dominate the face. The profile line is equally decisive: projection must correspond harmoniously with nose and chin to consistently avoid the unnatural appearance of a "pillow face."

To achieve this, we rely on the micro-dosing technique at minimal med. Rather than overwhelming tissue with volume, we focus on the regenerative capacity of modern hyaluronic acid structures. Will my lips look unnatural?

Not if done correctly. I work by the principle "less is more" and prefer to build up gradually. The goal is lips that suit your face - not the biggest possible lips.

How painful is the treatment?

Lips are sensitive, but with numbing cream and the lidocaine in the hyaluronic acid, the treatment is tolerable. Most patients describe it as uncomfortable but bearable.

How long will my lips be swollen?

In the first 2-3 days, lips can be noticeably swollen — especially in the morning. This is completely normal and no reason to worry. Many of my patients are a bit startled during this phase and think there is too much filler. It settles. After a week you see the final result.

Can the result be reversed?

Yes, this is one of the great advantages of hyaluronic acid. With hyaluronidase, the product can be dissolved if you are not satisfied with the result.

Is 0.5ml enough or do I need more?

Many of my patients start with 0.5ml — and come back shortly after because they loved how their lips looked right after treatment, when they were still slightly swollen. That is completely normal. I therefore recommend starting with half a syringe and deciding together after 4 weeks whether we top up.

What does lip enhancement cost?

Treatment starts from 219 EUR (0.5ml). For a natural result, half a syringe is often sufficient. The exact price depends on the desired change.
