What is biostimulation?
Biostimulation is a modern approach in aesthetic medicine: instead of simply filling volume, biostimulators encourage your skin to produce its own new collagen. The result is natural, long-lasting rejuvenation from within.
Which biostimulator is right for me?
That depends on your goals. If you need volume now, CaHA biostimulators work best on jawline and cheeks: instant structure plus collagen building underneath. PLLA takes the slower route, pure collagen stimulation with no immediate filling effect, but it lasts up to 2 years. For skin quality and the delicate eye area specifically, polynucleotides (PDRN) tend to be the better fit. We narrow this down together in the free consultation.
Which brand-name products belong to which substance class?
For informational orientation only, which treatment is suitable in the individual case is clarified in the personal consultation. CaHA biostimulators are known under brand names such as Radiesse® (Merz Pharma), while PLLA biostimulators go to market as Sculptra® (Galderma). High-molecular hyaluronic acid bioremodelling, in turn, is commercially distributed under brand names such as Profhilo® (IBSA). Polynucleotides (PDRN) are a substance class, not a brand. The specific product selection is based on medical suitability for your goal.
From what age is biostimulation beneficial?
Natural collagen production decreases from the mid-20s onwards. Biostimulators are particularly beneficial from the age of 30, when the first signs of volume loss and declining skin quality become visible. But younger patients also benefit preventively.
How do biostimulators differ from hyaluronic acid fillers?
Hyaluronic acid fillers add volume immediately but are broken down after 6–12 months. Biostimulators stimulate your body to produce its own collagen. The result may appear more gradually but lasts significantly longer and looks more natural.
Can biostimulators be combined?
Yes, different biostimulators can be excellently combined, for example, a CaHA biostimulator for contour and volume at the jawline, and polynucleotides (PDRN) for skin quality around the eyes. Combination with hyaluronic acid is also beneficial.
How much do biostimulation treatments cost?
Individual treatments start from 399 EUR. We also offer 3-session and 5-session packages at reduced rates. The exact costs are discussed in the free consultation, as they depend on the scope of treatment.
Is the treatment painful?
Most patients experience only a slight pressure sensation. A numbing cream can be applied upon request. The treatment usually takes 30–45 minutes and you are socially presentable immediately afterwards.
How quickly will I see results?
With CaHA biostimulators, results are visible right after treatment. With PLLA biostimulators and polynucleotides, the effect builds over 4–8 weeks as your body needs time to produce new collagen. The wait is worth it. The results look exceptionally natural.
