In a lip injection, I place hyaluronic acid precisely into or along the lip with a fine needle. This lets me redraw the contour, gently add volume, balance an asymmetry or simply restore moisture. The hyaluronic acid contains lidocaine, and I numb the lip beforehand with a cream.

Does a lip injection look natural?
When carefully dosed, yes. I work on the principle of "less is more" and build up gradually. This creates a contour that complements your face — not the first thing others notice.
How painful is the treatment?
Lips are sensitive, so I apply a numbing cream beforehand. The hyaluronic acid also contains lidocaine, which numbs the area directly. Most patients find the treatment quite bearable.
How long will my lips be swollen afterwards?
Some swelling in the first 2–3 days is normal. After about a week you see the final result. For this reason, avoid scheduling important appointments right afterwards.
What is the difference between lip injection and lip enhancement?
Lip injection is the umbrella term: hyaluronic acid is injected into or along the lip to define contour, balance asymmetry, add hydration or give volume. "Lip enhancement" refers specifically to building volume for visibly plumper lips — one aspect of it.
Can the result be reversed?
Yes. The result can be dissolved again if needed. So if you are not satisfied with the result, the treatment is reversible.
